EIGHT YEAR BREAK
Coppola director of The Godfather is back in business.

Director of Godfather, Francis Ford Coppola, took a long break of eight years and now is returning back to direct a low-budget film. The film is a re-make of the novel Youth without Youth by novelist Mircea Eliade. The Godfather director will finance the production. Coppola has also written the screenplay, according to the Scotsman. Coppola is excited about creating this film because he hopes to learn from the author of Youth without Youth what it is like when life is suddenly altered because of a war and being transformed from a gentleman to a fugitive. The last film of Coppola’s successful career was The Rainmaker, done back in 1997.
