SPEARS' SWEET TREAT AS THE CIRCUS ROLLS OUT OF SIN CITY

BRITNEY SPEARS savoured the sweet taste of success as she closed the U.S. leg of her Circus tour - by splashing out more than $3,000 (£2,000) on candy.

The superstar wrapped the North American dates of her latest global trek with two extra raunchy shows in Las Vegas on Sunday (27Sep09).

But things turned from saucy to tasty as she was preparing to leave Sin City - Spears raided a candy store and bought bundles of luxury tasty treats.

The Toxic singer picked out Halloween treacle and chocolate, as well as several of her own merchandised lollipops at Las Vegas' Sugar Factory store, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.

A source tells the publication, "Britney has put her worst vices behind her but clearly still has a sweet tooth.

"It's better she's spending all this cash on sweets than something more sinister."
