MISCHA BARTON's new drama THE BEAUTIFUL LIFE has become the first casualty of the new U.S. TV season

- it has been cancelled after just two episodes. CW network bosses pulled the show, which was created by Ashton Kutcher, due to poor ratings and production will cease immediately, according to EW.com.
