ISAACS FINDS POTTER'S LOOMING END 'UNBEARABLE'

Actor JASON ISAACS is dreading the end of the beloved HARRY POTTER franchise - despite relishing in the downfall of his evil character.

The Brit has played sinister wizard Lucius Malfoy since the first installment in 2000, a character who is a right-hand man of Potter's arch nemesis Lord Voldemort.

Warner Bros. have decided to split J.K. Rowling's final book into two films, which are due to hit cinemas in 2010 and 2011.

But even though shooting will continue until April (10), Isaacs is already feeling the loss of not working on the movies - which have attracted the cream of the U.K. acting industry.

He says, "I find it unbearable, I'm absolutely dreading it - I'm such a sentimental old fool that even though I don't finish shooting until April, I already feel like they're playing 'Leaving On A Jet Plane' in my ear."

However, Isaacs is enjoying the uncomfortable ending his nasty on-screen persona faces.

He adds, "One of the lovely things about these two films is Lucius has gone from the most evil man in the series to being utterly humiliated and emasculated by Lord Voldemort.

"He's reduced to little more than the man who rushes around with a dishcloth clearing up the spills. It's nice to have that kind of journey as a character and see him get the comeuppance he so richly deserves."
