SLIPKNOT SCRAP ALL AUGUST & SEPTEMBER SHOWS

Concerns for the health of SLIPKNOT drummer JOEY JORDISON have been heightened following the band's decision to scrap all upcoming shows in August and September (09).

The band pulled out of Saturday's (22Aug09) Pain In The Grass festival in Washington and a second show on Sunday (23Aug09) after Jordison was hospitalised with a "severe medical emergency".

Details are still sketchy about his condition, but the band has decided there's no point in rushing the drummer back to the stage and they've cancelled all shows.

One headlining spot at a festival in the band's native Iowa had already been pulled.

The band cancelled a string of European festival appearances last year (08) after Jordison broke his ankle.
