GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL GOERS SPOTTED U.F.O?

Britain's Glastonbury festival has found its way into a new Ministry of Defence report about unidentified flying objects.

Two festival-goers reported spotting a U.F.O at the 1994 event.

The files, released on Monday (17Aug09), suggest the couple spotted an object flying over the Somerset festival's Jazz Tent.

They thought the UFO was trying to send them a message.

The unnamed woman insists she and her partner were sober when they saw the U.F.O., which "was a twirling set of moving lights attached to what must have been a circular object."

She added, "It was unlike anything we knew... It was silent and the way it glided was the smoothest and most effortless motion I had seen in the sky.

"It swirled around and glided down straight towards us. We really became quite frightened but awestruck. Hair stood on the end of my arms and my heart was pounding."
