GOSSELIN FEUD OVER BABYSITTER PROMPT NEIGHBOUR TO CALL THE POLICE

America's top reality TV couple, JON AND KATE GOSSELIN, received a visit from the police on Thursday evening (13Aug09) when a family dispute became heated.

The estranged Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars fell out over Jon Gosselin's choice of babysitter for their kids.

Police arrived at their Wernersville, Pennsylvania home, where the exes were reportedly shouting at each other. A neighbour had called the authorities.

According to People.com, no one was arrested and no citations were issued, but both Gosselins were told to calm down.

A source tells the website Kate called the house to find out which babysitter was helping with the children and when she didn't approve of the caretaker, a row started.

Due to the custody agreement between the separated Gosselins, Kate is forbidden to enter the property while her estranged husband is playing dad to their kids.

The source says, "The cops had no choice but to tell Kate she couldn't go past the gate."

Police persuaded Kate Gosselin to leave the scene.
