GAGA'S HEARTACHE OVER LOVE SPLIT

Pop star LADY GAGA is feeling miserable and homesick following her recent split from her entrepreneur boyfriend - because her 'heart has been so terribly broken'.

The Just Dance hitmaker was linked to a 23-year-old mystery man, known only as Speedy, after they were photographed holding hands and kissing passionately in Hawaii in June (09).

But the singer recently hinted the relationship is over, telling reporters she is a "single girl".

And now the 28 year old has revealed the full extent of her heartache, telling British newspaper The Sun she is feeling sorry for herself and is desperate to quit her overseas promotion duties and return to her native New York.

She says, "Do you know the feeling of your heart being so terribly broken, you can feel the blood dripping out? When you have felt this, only then you know how I am doing.

"I'm homesick for New York. I can't tell you how much I miss that city. I love it all: the concrete, the bars, my family and friends."
