AKON's lawyers have denied the R&B superstar is running away from his responsibilities - after the mother of one of his children alleged it's impossible to serve the star with child support papers.

Sara Coleman has been desperately trying to reach the singer in a bid to hand over papers requesting child maintenance payments since the baby was proven to be Akon's over a month ago.
Coleman's legal team has tried in vain to get the documents to the Smack That hitmaker - even at Michael Jackson's memorial, according to TMZ.com.
But the star's lawyers have dismissed accusations Akon is not willing to pay for his six month old child - insisting the legalities surrounding the case have been difficult due to the star and Coleman living in separate states.
In a statement, a lawyer for the star says, "Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter.
"Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner."
