WEST WORKS WITH WIMBLEDON WINNER WILLIAMS

KANYE WEST is reportedly determined to become a tennis champ, recruiting pro-athlete SERENA WILLIAMS to help him master the court.

The Stronger rapper is said to have fallen in love with the sport after picking up a racket - and now he's approached tennis champ Williams to coach him.

West met Williams at an afterparty for London's Wireless Festival at the weekend (05Jun09), where he congratulated her for beating older sister Venus in the Wimbledon finals on Saturday (04Jun09), according to Britain's tabloid The Sun.

He reportedly told her, "Tennis is my new thing. I love it!", before begging the champ to share her expertise.
