JACKSON 5 TO REUNITE IN HONOUR OF MICHAEL

MICHAEL JACKSON's brothers will reunite the JACKSON 5 to fill the London concert slots left vacant by the King of Pop's sudden death.

The Thriller hitmaker was preparing to make his live comeback with a 50-date residency at London's O2 Arena when he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

His tragic passing has left concert organisers at AEG Live scrambling to fill the string of dates, which were due to begin on 13 July (09), with reports linking ABBA and Led Zeppelin to the shows.

But a new report suggests the Jacksons want to keep Michael's legacy alive by performing in his place - with sisters La Toya and Janet Jackson also making an appearance.

A family source tells the New York Post, "We might do the 13th or a date in August with Jan and Toya.

"We may rehearse after the funeral. It'll be good and we'll do it right for Michael."

The publication claims the brothers are studying video footage of the pop superstar rehearsing for his concert in a bid to make the shows as memorable and as close to Jackson's wishes as possible.

Another insider adds, "They're working on keeping the tour going. Michael would have wanted the show to go on and that's what we're doing. We are not giving up on Michael because Michael would not give up on his fans."

Jackson will be remembered in a special memorial at Los Angeles' Staples Center - the same venue he used to rehearse for his tour - on Tuesday (07Jul09).
