JONES FEARS JACKSON FUNERAL WILL BE A MULTI-MILLION MESS

Legendary music producer QUINCY JONES has reiterated his plans to steer clear of pal MICHAEL JACKSON's funeral - because he doesn't want to see nine million people mourning the loss of the King of Pop.

Jones initially stated he feared he wouldn't be able to handle the grief of bidding farewell to his friend, who he has called "my little brother"..

He said, "I won't go to any more funerals as long as I live. I can't handle it."

But now he tells Details magazine he simply doesn't want to be part of a massive crowd.

Jones, who was the brains behind the King Of Pop's biggest hit albums, Thriller, Off The Wall and BAD, says, "It's going to be, like, nine million people there, and it's not what I want to see."

A date and location for Jackson's funeral have not been determined.

A planned public viewing of his body, which was to take place at the pop star's former Neverland Ranch home in Santa Barbara, California on Friday (03Jul09) has reportedly been scrapped.

There will be a private family memorial on Sunday (05Jul09).
