JACKSON SHOW BOSS WANTS FAMILY TRIBUTE GIG

MICHAEL JACKSON's concert promoter is planning a tribute concert to the King Of Pop - and he wants the star's musical family to be the star guests.

Jackson was due to kick off a string of 50 comeback gigs at London's O2 arena later this month (13Jul09).

Following his death last week (25Jun09) there is now a run of free dates at the venue - and the head of the show's promoters AEG Live is determined to fill the slots with an all-star tribute show in honour of Jackson.

And he wants the star's famous siblings - including his Jackson 5 bandmates Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon, plus superstar sister Janet - to play live at a tribute gig.

AEG boss Randy Phillips tells Sky News, "I imagine if we could do it, it would be done as a tribute, with the family, with the brothers performing and some of the sisters, but also the stars who loved Michael and were influenced by him."

And he's hinted that a show in honour of Jackson could use the sets, choreography and costumes originally created for the sold-out concerts.

He adds, "At some point the world needs to see this production."
