HEADACHES AS FANS SWOOP ON JACKSON'S WALK OF FAME STAR
Officials at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce are asking city leaders to help them clean up the flowers and mementos left on MICHAEL JACKSON's star on the Walk of Fame.
Michael Jackson's star on the Hollywood walk of fame has been turned into a shrine since his death.

Thousands of fans have visited the King of Pop's star outside Grauman's Chinese Theater since Friday morning (26Jun09) and the owners of that stretch of Hollywood Boulevard have generously paid for security and barricades to protect the area.
But Chamber of Trade bosses, who operate the Walk of Fame, fear the responsibility for maintaining security and the clean-up will fall to them.
Spokeswoman Ana Martinez-Holler tells WENN, "Flowers are dying and the wax from candles is all over the sidewalk.
"We have reached out to Michael Jackson's manager to see if anyone would like to come and pick up the items left on Michael's star and we are awaiting a response."
The Chamber of Commerce chiefs are also waiting to hear when the pop superstar's funeral will be - because they plan to use that date as the end of the Walk of Fame tribute.
Martinez-Holler adds, "I think we'll leave what we can until the funeral but we haven't decided exactly how long the star tribute should continue. I'm sure people are going to be upset when we remove everything, but we can't have a permanent memorial on a city sidewalk.
"We have asked the city to help us fund the upkeep of the site until the funeral."
