CHOPRA WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT JACKSON'S 'GREAT NEWS' WAS

Celebrated spiritualist and author DEEPAK CHOPRA regrets missing MICHAEL JACKSON's final phone call to him - because now he'll never know what the 'great news' his friend had for him was.

Chopra admits he and Jackson had fallen out in 2005 after the doctor refused to write his pal a prescription for drugs he claimed he needed, and then started investigating the pop star's use of painkillers.

But the pair became friends again, and the King of Pop tried to contact Chopra two days before his death last week (25Jun09).

Chopra says, "I erased the message unfortunately. It was short.

"He said, 'Deepak, I'm excited to share great news with you. Call me back. I'm disappointed that you're not picking up.'"
