JACKSON'S DOCTOR MISSES OUT ON A FORTUNE
The late MICHAEL JACKSON's personal doctor has missed out on a small fortune from the pop superstar's London comeback shows - because he was to be paid 'a significant' amount of money to tend to the King of Pop's medical needs.

Dr. Conrad Murray had closed up his practice in Las Vegas and was preparing to travel to England with Jackson, the star's dancers and entourage early next month (Jul09).
When paramedics arrived at Jackson's rented Holmby Hills, California estate on Thursday (25Jun09), Murray was performing CPR on the unconscious singer, and the doctor was reportedly at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles with Jackson's advisors when the star was pronounced dead hours later.
AEG Live boss Randy Phillips, who was the brains behind Jackson's run of London comeback shows, tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper Jackson had insisted Murray be added to his sizeable pay-roll as his personal physician, even though the promoter suggested that a London-based doctor made more financial and logistical sense.
Phillips says, "He (Jackson) insisted emphatically (on Murray)... Michael told me personally that he trusted this man... He seemed to care about Michael very much. He was very professional.
"He was distraught (when he told me about Jackson's death). He could barely talk."
Murray was summoned to Los Angeles earlier this month (Jun09), according to Jackson's advisor Dr. Tohme Tohme, and agreed to take a sabbatical from his practice to serve the King of Pop in London.
Phillips adds, "He was to be paid a significant amount."
