MINNELLI ECHOES JACKSON DRUG FEARS

LIZA MINNELLI is convinced MICHAEL JACKSON's autopsy will reveal he was killed by prescription drugs.

Jackson passed a medical test permitting him to take part in a gruelling comeback residency just weeks before a sudden cardiac arrest killed him on Thursday (25Jun09).

A number of friends have come forward to claim Jackson was "enabled" by doctors who had provided him with strong prescription drugs.

In an emotional U.S. interview the TV Cabaret star echoes the claims - urging fans to "celebrate" his life, before the ugly truth comes out.

She says, "I'm sure that now the accolades are gone and when the autopsy has come, all hell will break loose - so thank God we're celebrating him now."

Jackson's body was released on Friday (26Jun09) by the Los Angeles coroner's office. A final verdict on the star's cause of death is expected within four to six weeks.
