JACKSON EMERGENCY CALL TAPE RELEASED

The newly-released 911 call made from MICHAEL JACKSON's home after his cardiac arrest on Thursday (25Jun09) confirms the star was unconscious and not breathing before paramedics arrived at the scene.

The King of Pop passed away suddenly after suffering a collapsing at his home in Holmby Hills, California and was pronounced dead that afternoon, after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center in California. He was 50.

In 911 call tapes it appears the singer was in the care of his personal doctor, cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray, who was desperately attempting to revive Jackson by performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

In a radio call to emergency officials, an as yet unknown man tells emergency officials: "He's not breathing, sir. He's not conscious, sir... We have a personal doctor here with him, sir, but he's not responding to anything he's not responding to CPR or anything... The doctor has been the only one here... he's pumping he's pumping his chest but he's not responding to anything."

Los Angeles coroner officials - who have found no evidence of foul play in Jackson's death - are taking extra time to complete toxicology, neuropathology and pulmonary tests before determining the exact cause.

The medical examiner is expected to issue a final verdict on Jackson's cause of death is within four to six weeks.
