AUSTRALIAN REALITY TV STAR 'COMES OUT' AS A LESBIAN

A rejected catwalk wannabe competing for the title of AUSTRALIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL has confirmed reports she's dating Aussie model LYNDSAY ANNE.

Lola Van Vorst, 20, shocked TV viewers when she revealed she was a lesbian on the show.

The leggy lovely tells the Sydney Star Observer newspaper that she recently told her parents of her sexual preference.

She says, "I told mum before it came out in the media. That would be a crap way to find out that your daughter is gay."

And she admits she desperately tried to keep her sexual preference away from Top Model producers: "After the first few weeks the girls did find out on the show but I didn't want it to be about my sexuality and didn't want everyone to tune in because of that. The producers were really good about it but I'm sure if they knew they would have focused on that."
