Rock couple PETE WENTZ and ASHLEE SIMPSON-WENTZ are continuing their fight against the gay marriage ban in California - appearing in an ad campaign to support same-sex rights.
The Fall Out Boy bassist and the actress/singer were outraged by California Supreme Court's recent decision to uphold a gay marriage ban - six months after homosexual unions were declared valid.
And the celebrity couple has now posed for a portrait in collaboration with California's NOH8 campaign, which seeks to overturn the ban.
The pair appear with NOH8 painted on their faces and duct tape over their mouths to symbolise how supporters of same-sex unions have been silenced.
Just last month (May09), they joined protests in Hollywood after the California Supreme Court upheld the ban, which came into effect under the Proposition 8 legislation last November (08).
