Fans of cult punk act AT THE DRIVE-IN have been given renewed hope of a reunion following comments frontman CEDRIC BIXLER-SAVALA has made in a new interview.
The group announced an indefinite hiatus in 2001, but suggested artistic differences led the bandmates in different directions - forming acclaimed bands Sparta and the Mars Volta.
But now Bixler-Savala, who once declared he felt At the Drive-In was holding him back creatively, is considering a reunion.
In an interview with Drowned in Sound magazine, the rocker says, "We've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them. And we've been trying to get our financial business in order because a lot of people have been ripping off that band really badly.
"I wouldn't mind it (reunion)... It might happen. We just have to iron out a lot of personal things. A lot of it we've dealt with already and I've apologised for a lot of things I've said and the way it ended. We'll see what happens."
