WAYNE'S ODE TO KOBE BRYANT

LIL WAYNE is so inspired by basketball ace KOBE BRYANT, he's written a song about the Los Angeles Lakers star.

Lil Wayne arrived for the first game of the NBA National Championship Tournament between the L.A. Lakers and Orlando Magic at the Staples Center. Los Angeles, California - 04.06.09

Bryant even makes a cameo on the track - Wayne mixes his rapping with post-game interviews.

The lyrics include, 'He's the greatest on the court, I'm the greatest on the verse."

Wayne - whose new album Rebirth is due for release in August (09) - was invited by sports reporters to perform the track on court at the Lakers' first NBA Championship game against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night (04Jun09), but he was struck with stage fright and refused.
