PRATT HOSPITALISED AFTER JUNGLE STUNT

HEIDI PRATT was hospitalised on Saturday (06Jun09) after taking part in a gruelling trial on the set of reality show I'M A CELEBRITY... GET ME OUT OF HERE!

The star joined the jungle show in Costa Rica with her husband Spencer Pratt but the newlyweds walked off after just one episode.

They later returned to the celebrity survivor competition and were forced to spend time in a darkened room living off water, rice and beans as 'punishment' for their early exit.

But the stunt is said to have left Pratt sick and vomiting. She was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with a gastric ulcer, according to TMZ.com.

Spencer Pratt's sister, Stephanie, confirmed the news on her Twitter.com page, telling followers, "(Heidi was) rushed to the hospital and has an IV (intravenous drip) in her arm after being locked in a dark room for 3 days with no food or water. Pls (please) pray she will be ok?Her family is flying out to see her in the hospital."

The Hills star has since been released from hospital.
