PERRY'S DATING DRAMAS

KATY PERRY refused to kiss boyfriend TRAVIS MCCOY before he had taken her out on a date.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker has been involved with the Gym Class Heroes frontman for years, although they briefly split up back in December (08) before reconciling in April (09).

And Perry made McCoy work hard to impress her in the early days of their romance - because she would never consider a "casual" relationship.

She tells Seventeen magazine, "I never hook up. If I really like a person, then I'll go on a date. But you'll never catch me just randomly making out with someone.

"I'm not casual at all. I've always been into making a connection with someone. That's what it's all about for me. Besides, it's sexier to be mysterious and not give it away."

But Perry admits she fell deeply in love with McCoy once he had proved his relationship credentials to her.

She adds, "I don't really fall in love a lot, but when I do, I fall hard. I've had about four boyfriends, and I fell in love with all of them - each of them served a purpose."
