SALINGER SUES OVER CATCHER SEQUEL

CATCHER IN THE RYE author J.D. SALINGER is suing the man behind an unauthorised sequel to his seminal work.

Salinger has filed suit in Manhattan, New York, requesting the recall of J.D. California's new book 60 Years Later.

The author's lawyers maintain their client retains the sole rights to his iconic Holden Caulfied character.
