COCKER: 'I'M NOT QUITTING ANY MORE'

Former PULP star JARVIS COCKER has given up on his plans to retire from the music business because he has been re-energised by his new tunes.

Jarvis Cocker promotes his new album 'Further Complications' by serving behind the sales counter at HMV in Oxford Street. London, England - 18.05.09

The Common People hitmaker was close to quitting after Pulp's messy ending but his first solo release in 2006 inspired him to carry on.

He says, "I got my appetite back. There were certain problematic things at the end of Pulp, so I had to take a bit of time and think, 'Maybe I've done as much as I'm gonna do.'

"For whatever reason, luckily or unluckily, I got back into it."
