LAUPER SUED FOR PULLING OUT OF GERMAN SHOWS
GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN hitmaker CYNDI LAUPER has been hit with a lawsuit for pulling out of a week of shows in Germany.
Moderne Welt claims the pop star signed up for seven concerts in Germany in July (09) - and then pulled out of the deal a week later.
The plaintiffs insist Lauper's agent gave them the go-ahead to publicise the shows and then they were informed the deal was off "due to film and television commitments," according to TMZ.com.
The German company now wants Lauper to hand over $800,000 (£533,300).
