WEEZER LAUNCH BLANKET

Rockers WEEZER have entered into a bizarre new deal to produce their own blanket brand.

The band's new 'Wuggie' - a blanket with sleeves - will be available in stores later this year (09).

The Beverly Hills hitmakers have teamed up with the creators of the popular Snuggie quilt for the project.

Frontman Rivers Cuomo says, "It'll say Weezer on it. The people at Snuggie are doing it with us and promoting it with us. It's a totally legit Snuggie."
