1990S CANCEL U.S. TOUR

British rockers 1990S have axed their upcoming North American tour - giving fans just one day's notice.

The cult band were due to kick off a 15-date road trip on Wednesday (27May09), including showcase gigs in New York, California and Canada,

But they cancelled the run just 24-hours before the opening show, citing "unforeseen circumstances".

In a posting on the Scottish three-piece's official website, bass player Dino Bardot writes: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we've had to postpone our upcoming US tour. We feel really dreadful about this... Our apologies to everyone who was looking forward to coming along and seeing us... Hopefully we'll be able to rearrange for later on in the year."
