FARROW ATTENDS SON'S GRADUATION

MIA FARROW has recovered from her gruelling fast in time to watch her son graduate from law school.

The actress travelled to New Haven, Connecticut on Sunday (25May09) for 21-year-old Ronan's commencement, just weeks after doctors forced her to end the fast she had embarked upon to raise awareness of starving refugees in the Sudan.

And she has high hopes her newly-qualified son will follow in her footsteps and use his education to fight for those in need around the world, revealing on her blog, "He is going into government."

Ronan, who is estranged from his father Woody Allen, already boasts an impressive resume - he deferred his law degree to work as a special assistant to Richard Holbrooke, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
