QUEEN GUITARIST GIVES IDOL LOSER A BOOST

Rocker ADAM LAMBERT has been given another boost after facing defeat on the season finale of AMERICAN IDOL - QUEEN guitarist BRIAN MAY wants to collaborate with him.

Lambert lost out to fellow finalist Kris Allen on last week's (20May09) season finale in Los Angeles and has already been offered a guest spot by rocker Gene Simmons on the Kiss tour.

And May is echoing Simmons' sentiments, insisting a collaboration with the reality TV star is in order.

May tells Rolling Stone, "It's not like we, as Queen, would rush into coalescing with another singer just like that. It isn't that easy. But I'd certainly like to work with Adam. That is one amazing instrument he has there."
