MIDLER IS A BIG NE-YO FAN

R&B hitmaker NE-YO has an unlikely fan in BETTE MIDLER after wowing the veteran entertainer at a recent New York concert.

Midler joined hundreds of young Ne-Yo fans to check out the So Sick singer's gig at Radio City Music Hall in February (09), after discovering she had a link to one of his backing dancers.

And Midler admits she was highly impressed with the energetic show.

She says, "The last person I saw that I thought was really good was Ne-Yo at Radio City.

"We were the oldest people in the whole house and when 11 o clock came we had to get up and worm ourselves back to our house, like, 'Oh my god, it's past my bedtime!' But he was fantastic. One of his girls is one of my old dancers from my old show. He was great and they were great and it was very nice to see him."
