Newlyweds SPENCER PRATT and HEIDI MONTAG have dismissed reports their April (08) wedding was a hoax, insisting they'll be married 'forever'.
'The Hills' stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag get married in an early evening ceremony at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. Los Angeles, California, USA - 25.04.09
The couple exchanged vows in Pasadena, California amid speculation the lavish ceremony was nothing more than a filmed event for their reality TV show The Hills.
But, in their first post-wedding TV interview, the couple tells U.S. news show Extra the vows were for real.
Montag says, "It's real love and we will be married forever and ever and ever!"
After eloping last year (08) and staging a low-key commitment ceremony in Mexico, Montag admits she couldn't wait to get married for real.
She adds, "I was just sitting there in my (wedding) dress like, 'I am really about to marry the most amazing man and this is such a great experience...' It's real love."
And her new husband is convinced he made the right choice, calling married life "amazing".
Montag also revealed she has officially changed her name to Pratt. Her happy husband coos, "We're going to the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) and we're getting the license and I'm framing it."
