BERNAL FILM SONG IS A RINGTONE HIT

Mexican movie hunk GAEL GARCIA BERNAL was stunned when a song he recorded for his new soccer film became a ringtone hit.

The actor sings Quiero Que Me Quieras in Rudo Y Cursi and decided it should be his voice on the soundtrack - but he had no idea the tune would become a top ringtone request in South America.

He tells WENN, "I was very surprised the song became such a big hit and has led to other things. Actually the song is better known now than the film for practical reasons - because you can travel around with it.

"Hopefully the people who like the song or find it funny will see the film. I don't think I have plans for a recording career."

Fun-loving Bernal has even recorded a colourful video, in which he dances on soccer fields and in the Mexican countryside with two sexy dancers.
