WELLER PULLS NYC GIG DUE TO 'PERSONAL REASONS'

Brit rocker PAUL WELLER has scrapped an highly-anticipated New York gig - citing 'personal reasons' for the last minute cancellation.

Weller was due to follow-up his set at California's Coachella festival last weekend (18/19Apr09) with a one-off performance at the Big Apple's Nokia Theatre.

But the star has told fans he will not be able to commit to the show, stating the reasons behind the decision are of a "personal" nature.

The musician hasn't rescheduled the concert. Tickets will be refunded from their point of purchase.
