GIBSON'S LAWYER CALLS FOR JUDGE TO BE REMOVED FROM DIVORCE TRIAL
MEL GIBSON's lawyer has moved to strike the judge overseeing his divorce trial from the proceedings.

Gibson's wife Robyn filed to end the couple's 28-year marriage on Monday (13Apr09) and the movie star's attorney is unhappy with the judge allocated the case.
Bob Kaufman filed legal papers on Thursday (16Apr09), asking for the removal of Judge Rafael Ongkeko, according to TMZ.com.
In the papers, Kaufman insists he doesn't believe his client can "have a fair and impartial trial or hearing" before the judge.
Gibson's wife cited "irreconcilable differences" for the split and she is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the couple's youngest son, Tom - their only minor child. She is also asking for spousal support and attorneys fees.
Robyn has hired top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her in the case. Wasser has handled divorces for Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Stevie Wonder.
