IVANOVA'S GRANDMOTHER: 'WOOD RELATIONSHIP WON'T LAST'

The grandmother of RONNIE WOOD's young lover is convinced their relationship is doomed because of the 40-year age gap between the guitarist and EKATERINA IVANOVA.

Lyudmila Ivanova, 75, once branded the Rolling Stone "ugly and disgusting" but has now grown to accept their odd union - even promising to give her blessing if the pair one day choose to wed.

And yet the Ivanova matriarch is certain their marriage will be short-lived.

She says, "If it's real love, let them be happy together.

"It won't last long. She is much younger than him, so she will have a chance to find another man if something happens to Ronnie.

"This is the way with the modern world."
