U.K. CHARTS GO GAGA

Pop sensation LADY GAGA has scored a double in Britain - grabbing the number one slot on both the single and album charts.

The Just Dance hitmaker's latest offering, Poker Face, continues to lead the U.K. singles chart while her debut album, The Fame, has climbed to the top slot this week (beg06Apri09).

The news comes just days after the star made U.S. chart history by becoming the first artist in nearly ten years to claim consecutive number one singles with her first two releases.

The British singles chart was rounded out with Noisettes at number two with Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go) and Ar Rahman featuring Pussycat Dolls with Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) at number three. Flo Rida featuring Kesha is at four with Right Round and Beyonce takes the fifth slot with Halo.

In the album chart, Kings Of Leon remain at number two with Only By The Night, followed by Annie Lennox's The Collection at three and Ronan Keating's Songs For My Mother at four. Flo Rida's R.O.O.T.S. (Route Of Overcoming The Struggle) is a new entry at five.
