Somali-Canadian rapper K'NAAN is taking the social networking craze to the next level - he's recording a new version of his song using fans' messages on Twitter.com.
The star has invited followers of his blog to download an instrumental of People Like Me, and submit their suggestions for lyrics via the website.
The deadline for submissions is set for 1 May (09), when K'Naan will choose the best lines and work them into a complete song - the first time Twitter will officially be used for the creation of such a project.
