MARTIN SET FOR OPRY HONOUR

Funnyman STEVE MARTIN will realise a dream in May (09) when he makes his debut at country music mecca the Grand Ole Opry.

The comedian and banjo player and his band will perform tracks from new bluegrass album The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo at the Nashville, Tennessee venue on 30 May (09).

He'll be joined onstage by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band founder Jon McEuen, who produced the album, and country couple Vince Gill and Amy Grant.
