RICHIE TO DESIGN FOOTWEAR
NICOLE RICHIE is expanding her resume as a fashion designer after signing a deal to launch her own line of shoes.

The first collection of Richie's House of Harlow 1960 - named after her 14-month-old daughter with rocker boyfriend Joel Madden - sold out in an online pre-sale earlier this year (09), before items had time to hit shelves.
According to Women's Wear Daily, she will add a line of around 20 shoe styles, new bags, belts and small accessories to debut in the spring of 2010.
And Richie's business partner Rick Cytrynbaum insists the socialite is taking extra care over her new designs.
He says, 'Nicole is designing everything herself. She's totally devoted to this, and we're creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her.'
