ICE CUBE TO STAR IN COP COMEDY

Rapper/actor ICE CUBE is set to star as a rogue police officer in a new action comedy.

The rapper, real name O'Shea Jackson, urged N.W.A. fans to F**k Tha Police in the group's 1988 hit record.

And now he has signed up to star in Ride Along, a film about a cop who sets out to destroy his sister's relationship by inviting his future brother-in-law along for a ride.

Production is scheduled to begin on the movie this summer (09).
