RIHANNA PARTIES WITH JAY-Z AND BEYONCE

RIHANNA is returning to the public eye with style following her alleged altercation with CHRIS BROWN - she partied with JAY-Z and wife BEYONCE KNOWLES in New York.

The Umbrella singer hit the Big Apple on Friday (13Mar09) night with the star couple and a group of friends.

And to avoid unwanted attention, the trio insisted staff at The Spotted Pig gastropub section off an entire floor for their use.

A source tells America's OK!, "People love the Spotted Pig because it's super laid-back, but it was far from it last night. Security was on red-alert, and you could tell they were under strict instructions to let them party in peace.

"(Rihanna) was in a good mood and laughing at the camera all night. She didn't care that the cameras were taking pictures of her. She was just having a fun girls night. She was telling her friend, 'See it's not that bad over here, in L.A. there's mad paparazzi.' She was joking with friends and walking down the street."

Brown is charged with assault and making criminal threats after an argument with Rihanna last month (08Feb09) allegedly left her battered and bruised.

He is due back in court in April (09).
