GALLAGHER TURNED DOWN DUET WITH JAY-Z

JAY-Z offered to record a duet with NOEL GALLAGHER in a bid to end the pair's feud last summer (08) - but the OASIS rocker turned him down.

The pair bickered in the media over the rapper's headlining role at the Glastonbury Festival in England in June (08).

Gallagher criticised the decision to let a rapper perform at the traditionally rock 'n' roll event, and Jay-Z fired back by covering Oasis hit Wonderwall at the start of his Glastonbury set.

But the guitarist reveals the rapper reached out with the offer of a collaboration, only to be snubbed by the 41-year-old.

Gallagher reveals, "(I told him) I'm afraid I'm busy.'"
