The latest incident prompted Allen to head to court in London on Friday (13Mar09) where she successful secured a court order banning the paparazzi from getting too close.
The injunction targets two picture agencies, Big Pictures and Matrix; photographer Dan Bosinovski and unnamed "individuals responsible for taking photographs of the claimant outside her home and in other public places during February and March 2009".
Following Friday's hearing, Allen's lawyer Mark Thomson released a statement that reads, "My client has faced constant harassment over the last few months from the paparazzi.
"As a result of this and various incidents of harassment that took place yesterday my client has now been forced to take legal action. In a court hearing that took place this afternoon, my client, Lily Allen, has resolved issues surrounding her constant harassment with two picture agencies and has also obtained from the High Court an injunction restraining further harassment of her by other paparazzi photographers. My client, Lily Allen, is delighted with the outcome of the hearing today."
Allen also spoke out on Friday to deny rumours legal action stemming from her most recent confrontation with the press may affect her forthcoming U.S. tour.
The singer had her American visa revoked back in 2007 because of her fight with photographers earlier the same year, but a representative insists 2009 gigs will "not be impacted in any way".
