Dance outfit THE PRODIGY have stormed to the top of the U.K. music charts with their first album in five years.
The British band secured the top spot on Sunday (01Mar09) with their latest offering, Invaders Must Die, which has sold nearly 100,000 units since its release a week ago, making it the fastest-selling record of 2009 so far.
Kings Of Leon's Only By The Night and Lily Allen's It's Not Me, It's You slid into second and third places respectively.
The rest of the album chart top five is made up of Rockferry by Duffy and Lady GaGa's The Fame.
Britain's singles chart is led by female singers with Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You taking number one.
Taylor Swift claimed the second slot with Love Story, with Lady GaGa's single Poker Face at number three.
T.I.'s collaboration with Justin Timberlake, Dead And Gone, sits at four and last week's (beg23Feb09) number one The Fear by Lily Allen has slipped to number five.
