T.I. POISED TO TAKE OVER ATLANTIC RECORDS POST?

Rap superstar T.I. has been tipped to take over a top position at his label Atlantic Records following the promotion of company executive JULIE GREENWALD.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., is due to start a 365-day jail term for illegal weapons possession next month (Mar09) - but that hasn't stopped him from commenting on speculation he will succeed Greenwald, who was recently given the title of chairman and chief operating officer of the label.

However, he refuses to confirm or deny the claims outright.

He tells MTV.com, "It's among the realm of possibilities. Ah, man, when I (do) speak upon it, it will be fact."
