Aussie singer/songwriter EMMA SOPHINA has dedicated her new single to the pilot who saved her life - by crash landing on the Hudson River in New York.
Sophina was among the passengers who survived the water landing after US Airways Flight 1549 caption Chesley Sullenberger was forced to make a water landing last month (Jan09).
And the near-death experience inspired her to write new single, Send Another Prayer, which is released as a download via iTunes on Monday (09Feb09).
She says, "I felt we'd hit a building... When he said, 'Brace for impact,' I thought, 'It's my time to go, I'm going to heaven.'
"Words can't really describe just how grateful I am."
