RIHANNA VOWS TO HELP LEUKAEMIA VICTIM

Big-hearted R&B beauty RIHANNA is desperately seeking out possible bone-marrow donors for a five-year-old leukaemia sufferer - because it 'broke her heart' to hear of the young girl's struggle.

The Umbrella hitmaker was shown a video of brave New Yorker Jasmina Amena, and vowed to do all she could to help find the sick youngster a bone-marrow match.

She tells People.com, "When I saw the video of Jasmina it broke my heart. It is so unfair that for a black patient it's so much harder to find a bone marrow match.

"Jasmina has acute leukaemia and she needs a bone marrow transplant to live."

It is the second time the singer has stepped up in search of a possible donor for a sick kid - last year (08) the star helped young Lisa Flynn find a match in order to save her life.
