TOMEI COLLECTED INAUGURAL AUTOGRAPHS ON PAPER PLATE

Oscar nominee MARISA TOMEI has an odd keepsake from President BARACK OBAMA's inauguration - a signed paper plate.

The Wrestler star took part in last weekend's (18Jan09) pre-inauguration party on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and chose to mark the historic occasion by collecting signatures.

But, with a lack of paper at the star-studded event, Tomei improvised and nabbed a plate from the backstage barbecue.

She says, "They had a little bit of barbecue for us... and these heavy paper plates and I got everyone to sign one, including the President.

"Jack Black, unfortunately, took the biggest spot - which I was saving for Obama."

The actress also posed for a photo with the new President.
